Chef Douglas Lisi and his team, which includes wife Mary
and second chefs Bruce Chalmers and Forbes Fitzgerald ably assisted by Karen Johnstone are passionate about good food cooked
with only the freshest ingredients.
Douglas and the team remain true to the Lisi family tradition of making their
own fresh pasta, sauces, bread and desserts from scratch to bring diners at L'Aperitif the most authentic Italian dining
experience to be found this side of Rome.
Dishes include Saltimbocca (which in Italian means jumps in the mouth)
alla Romana; the divine fresh scampi cooked in tempura batter; pan-fried cod in smoked parma ham with prawns and broccoli
and the sensational lobster ravioli.
We promise diners at L'Aperitif the most authentic Italian dining experience
to be found outside Italy.
